Disclosures
Every commercial relationship, in plain sentences rather than in a footer in small grey text.
What we currently earn from this site
What happens when that changes
When a commercial relationship becomes real, it gets named here, in a plain sentence, before the first link goes live rather than after. You will be able to see who pays us, roughly how, and on which pages.
We do not publish a list of programmes we have applied to or would like to join. Disclosure is about relationships that exist. A roster of intentions tells you nothing useful about whether this page is trustworthy today, and it is the sort of thing a reader could reasonably mistake for a current relationship. When there is something to disclose, it will be here.
Things that will never carry a paid link
This page, about, methodology, the corpus, and any dataset we publish. That restraint is deliberate: those pages are the ones we want people to be able to cite, and a citation is worth more than a click.
Two products we cover that pay us nothing, by construction
The only breath test that measures all three gases has no affiliate programme and is not sold through any network we could join. Neither does the fermentation tracker we tell people is not a SIBO test. We cover both anyway, and we would rather you knew that our most useful recommendation is also our least profitable one.
What we will not do
- We will not let a commercial relationship change a rating, a ranking, or a limitation we would otherwise have printed.
- We will not place a study next to a buy button without saying what the study actually found and did not find.
- We will not accept payment for a review, a placement, or a mention, and we will not publish sponsored posts.
- We will not put affiliate links in email. If we ever send email, it links to pages on this site.
